Earring Care

It is best to remove your jewellery when you shower and swim (at the pool with your friends or swimming with dolphins in the ocean!) – It is a rule for most jewellery but even more so for your ShinyEmy which are made using wooden pieces. Avoid spraying perfume and applying creams directly on your jewellery. This will ensure that metal components last for as long as possible.

Resin-coated pieces can be cleaned using a slightly humid cloth to bring back their gloss.

Some earrings are made using mixed media such as metal, brass, stainless steel etc. The best care for these items is to wipe with a soft cloth to make them shine every now and then, or a commercially available metal cleaner (can be found at Bunnings for instance). 

When not being worn, always store your jewellery in a safe, dry and cool place away from direct sunlight. We recommend storing your earrings on an earring board (type Yobi or BonMaxie if you need inspiration) to avoid getting them tangled or damaged.  The best way to ensure your jewels do not oxidise or tarnish is to keep them in a jewellery box with all your other precious beauties!
